MARKETING LIES BRANDS MUST STOP TELLING!
I’ve been watching how brands communicat and honestly, some things need to change.
People are smarter now. They feel when a message is real and when it’s just noise.
They can tell the difference between a brand that means it and a brand that’s simply performing.
Here are a few lies brands must let go of:
1️⃣ “We care about our customers.”
If the care doesn’t show in how you treat people, it’s not care; it’s copywriting.
2️⃣ “We are the best.”
No one believes that anymore.
Show people your effort, and accomplishments not your ego.
3️⃣ “We listen.”
If you talk at people all day and never ask, “What do you think?”, you’re not listening.
You’re broadcasting.
4️⃣ “Everyone is our customer.”
Not true. And trying to impress everyone usually impresses no one.
5️⃣ “Once we advertise, people will buy.”
That era is gone. Consumers buy brands that feel human. Brands that sound honest.
Brands that communicate with heart, not hype.
The world is tired of polished lies.
People want truth, clarity, and brands that talk to them like real human beings.
