22 May 2026 marked our annual De Heus South Africa and Riverwood College Charity Golf Day at the beautiful Victoria Country Club in Pietermaritzburg. ⛳🏌️‍♂️

What an incredible day it was, filled with great company, laughter, teamwork, and memorable moments shared with our valued industry partners. We want to extend a sincere thank you to everyone who joined us and contributed to making the day such a success.

The Sentraal Karoo Meatmaster Group Auction once again delivered excellent results on the 21st of May 2026 at Kamdeboo, Graaff-Reinet.

Auction results:
• Ewe Lambs averaged R3 282
• Open Ewes averaged R3 633
• Pregnant Ewes averaged R3 243
• Rams averaged R8 583

The highest-priced ram was sold for R26 000 to Montepesca Pty Ltd.

De Heus, in cooperation with Hoëveld Dienste - Voere, would like to invite you to the Rietvallei Farming Bovelder Bull Auction, where 45 top-quality Bovelder bulls will be on offer on the 27th of May 2026 at 11:00 am at the Groenvlei Auction Pens, Wakkerstroom.

These bulls were finished on De Heus RumiComplete Stud Pellets — a specially formulated complete feed developed for stud animals preparing for breeding, shows and auctions. The product supports optimal growth, fertility, hoof health and overall condition, helping animals reach their full genetic potential while maintaining excellent adaptability and functionality in the veld.

Rietvallei Farming believes that exceptional genetics deserve exceptional nutrition. By combining strong breeding principles with scientifically formulated nutrition from De Heus, these bulls have been developed to deliver outstanding performance, adaptability and long-term value in both commercial and stud herds alike.

De Heus South Africa proudly hosted the International Operations Meeting Africa 2026 at Umlaas Road, welcoming colleagues from across the African continent.

Teams from the Operations, Maintenance, and Technology departments came together for an engaging week of discussions, collaboration, and practical workshops centred on this year’s theme: Availability.

The focus throughout the week was clear — driving reliable production output, maintaining exceptional quality standards, strengthening maintenance practices, and continuously improving the service levels we deliver to our customers across Africa.

A key highlight was the visit to the De Heus Umlaas Branch, where safety remained a top priority through practical risk assessments, JSA exercises, and collaboration with the Africa Safety Team.

Beyond the meetings and workshops, the week created a platform for knowledge sharing, stronger teamwork, meaningful relationships, and alignment as we continue striving for operational excellence across our African operations.
