We are excited to present Freed Mushaga’s live performance of songs from his JE SUIS THE LIVE EXPERIENCE as it moves from a recorded masterpiece into a localized, living experience in the heart of Zimbabwe. The original album was captured at Mavo Studio in Nairobi with a full Afro-Jazz ensemble. This Sofar session focuses on the "paradox"—the balance between the traditional and the contemporary. This concert is supported by Embassy of Switzerland to Malawi, Zambia and Zimbabwe through the Swiss Support to Arts Development in Zimbabwe (SSADZA) programme.
