We are happy to announce our opportunity to collaborate with Hansole Investments in coordinating and hosting events that will have Eng. Jacob Kudzayi Mutisi facilitating workshops that will empower through Website development training.
The training sessions aim to curb the effects of youth unemployment which is the global "number one" policy issue for many nations including our own. In response, most governments and international organizations are introducing more active labor market interventions to address youth unemployment. To complement this initiative Hansole aims to train as many youths as possible who will create and maintain websites for businesses willing to increase their digital footprint, no matter how small.
"The background to this training is that we all live in communities where everyone around us seems to have a small business. With the world going digital, we have to encourage all businesses to increase their digital footprint for them to be able to grow their audience and increase their market share for them to thrive", he said.
With our government now pushing for entrepreneurship education and training programs which are an essential component of any strategy to promote entrepreneurial activity among young people, this is ideally valuable means for shaping young people's attitudes and competencies to become self-employed.
We are excited to be part of this project having always been empathetic to the pleas of businesses in Zimbabwe wanting to communicate with the global community regardless of budgetary constraints. This solution therefore will serve both purposes our organizations stand for, which are empowering the youth to be self-sustainable and providing platforms for to create and maintain the digital footprint they desperately need to stay sustainable and grow.

Eng. Jacob Kudzayi Mutisi is the Chief Executive Officer of Hansole Investments (Pvt) Ltd, the current chairman of the Zimbabwe Internet Service Providers Association (ZISPA), and the Chairman of the ICT division of The Zimbabwe Institution of Engineers (ZIE).
