When I started my digital business in May 2021, I was a project management professional with no online business experience. I wasn't tech-savvy, but I was willing to learn!

Looking back, here are 4 things I wish someone had explained to me earlier. ๐Ÿ‘‡

1๏ธโƒฃ You don't need to know everything to start.

You don't need to be a tech expert or a digital marketing guru. You can learn new skills along the way. What matters is your willingness to learn, grow, and take action.

2๏ธโƒฃ Social media is more than scrolling.

It can be a powerful tool to build connections, share value, grow an audience, and create opportunities when used strategically.

3๏ธโƒฃ Consistency beats perfection.

Not every post will get attention, and not every effort will produce immediate results. Keep learning, keep showing up, and improve as you go. Progress takes patience!

4๏ธโƒฃ Understand the business before you commit.

Ask questions. Understand the system, the costs, the work involved, and how income is generated. Do your research and make informed decisions. Remember, results are never guaranteed.

Today, what started as my Plan B has grown into a digital business that has opened doors to new opportunities and helped me develop skills I never imagined having.

As a wife, mum of two boys, project management professional, and digital business coach, I understand the desire to create more opportunities without losing precious family time.

Today, I choose gratitude, rest, joy, and good vibes! โค๏ธโœจ

This week may have tested me, but through it all, God came through! ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿฝ

I am grateful that I showed up, did the work, stayed faithful, and kept going even when things were not easy.

I may not have everything figured out, but I am thankful for the strength to keep moving, the grace to keep believing, and the blessings I sometimes take for granted.

Today, I give myself permission to slow down, rest, recharge, spend time with family, and appreciate how far God has brought me.

My Sunday reminder: I have survived difficult days, overcome challenges, and witnessed God's goodness in ways I cannot explain.

I am ending this week with a grateful heart, a peaceful mind, and faith for a brighter tomorrow. โค๏ธ

Thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness, protection, provision, and unfailing love. ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿฝ

This weekend, I choose peace over pressure, gratitude over complaints, and faith over fear.

Having a mentor to guide you helps you avoid the mistakes theyโ€™ve made and learn from their experience.

We'd focus on learning something useful instead of trying to figure everything out at once.

2๏ธโƒฃ Learn how to communicate.
Building relationships and knowing how to connect with people matters more than simply putting something online.

3๏ธโƒฃ Start creating.
We'd create and share content even if it wasn't perfect. You learn so much more by doing.

4๏ธโƒฃ Give it time.
We'd remind ourselves that learning and building don't happen overnight. We'd focus on improving instead of expecting everything to work immediately.

Five years of experience has taught us that you don't need to have everything figured out on day one.

You just need a place to start.

And if we had to rebuild, we'd bring the lessons we've learned but we'd still expect to be beginners in some areas.

And honestly, that's okay.
