It's your angle. The specific reason a journalist would tell their readers about you, right now.

Most founders lead with what they built. Journalists care about why it matters to their readers today. That gap is usually the whole problem.

Next time you write a pitch, ask yourself one question before anything else. Why would someone reading this care, today, not just that it exists.

Cool number. Not necessarily useful.

Sometimes the problem isn't that you need MORE people. It's that you're talking to too many people at once.

Narrow the message. Find your people. Tell them something worth hearing.
