OOTD Tide To Go Pen Edition 🤣

I don’t usually do much white and for good reason - I had to use my tide to go pen before I even left the house. Is anyone else like this? Uhhh.

Sharing more about My Daily Gratitude Practice! 🌸

I’ve been doing this gratitude practice for years, but it’s felt more important since my RA diagnosis. It’s easy but so effective!

Take a blank journal and use the left side of the morning and right for evening.

MORNING:
-I start with TODAY’S FOCUS: this allows you to zero in on the most important thing you want to focus on today, not feel scattered with the giant to-do list you probably have
-I source an inspirational quote or reminder (gratitude cards or online)
-I then sit in gratitude and list 5 things I’m most grateful for
-list a few things I’m excited for that day

EVENING:
-I list all the great things that happened that day
-I list a few things I did to support myself that day
-another inspiring quote to end the day with positivity

3 things living with Rheumatoid Arthritis has taught me 🩷

1. You have to put yourself on the front burner. For so long, I was used to putting everyone and everything else first. Living with RA has taught me that taking care of myself isn’t selfish — it’s necessary. Rest, boundaries, movement, nourishment and doing things that make me feel good all count.
2. “No” is a complete answer.
I don’t need an excuse. I don’t need to over-explain. And I definitely don’t need to feel guilty for protecting my energy. Sometimes the answer is simply no — and that’s enough.
3. Gratitude changes the way you see things. I’ve had a long standing gratitude practice in the morning and before bed, and it’s only become more important. Even on difficult days, there is always something I can find to be grateful for. It doesn’t erase the hard stuff, but it helps me remember that the hard stuff isn’t the whole story.

RA has changed a lot about my life. But it has also taught me to listen to my body, protect my energy and appreciate the little things a whole lot more. 🤍
