As a team based in Mount Pearl, Newfoundland and Labrador, we acknowledge that we live and work on the ancestral homelands of Indigenous Peoples. We honour the Beothuk, the original inhabitants of the island of Newfoundland, and recognize the Mi'kmaq, Inuit, and Innu peoples who continue to strengthen communities across our province and country.

Today is an opportunity to listen, learn, reflect, and celebrate Indigenous voices, stories, and cultures.

We were proud to partner with the Ocean Ranger Legacy Foundation on a project that means so much to our province.

Together, we developed a new brand identity, designed and launched a new website, and created content that helps share the Foundation’s mission in a clear and meaningful way.

One of the key goals was to significantly reduce operational and administrative costs, allowing more resources to be directed toward what matters most: preserving the memory of the 84 men lost in the Ocean Ranger disaster, supporting educational initiatives, and advancing the Foundation’s advocacy efforts.

This project was about more than design and technology. It was about helping ensure an important story continues to be told, remembered, and shared with future generations.

We're grateful for the opportunity to support the Foundation's work and contribute to a legacy that continues to have a profound impact on our province.

For generations, Innu families were forced to leave their communities to give birth, often far from their loved ones, language, culture, and support networks during one of the most important times in their lives.

Reclaiming Birth follows four women on their journey to become the next generation of Innu midwives, helping bring birth back to their communities and strengthening maternal and child health across Labrador.

Through their stories, the film explores the dedication, knowledge, and community leadership driving a renewed approach to birth care while creating a path forward for future generations.

We're honoured to have partnered on a project that celebrates cultural revitalization, community strength, and the power of bringing care closer to home.

Mike’s the guy turning ideas into visuals that actually make people stop scrolling. Whether he’s behind the camera, deep in an edit, or building motion graphics that bring a project to life, he always finds a way to make great work even better.

When he’s not creating, you’ll probably find him skateboarding, out on the golf course, or spending time with his son Noah, teaching him all the things he loves most.

We're excited to announce the launch of the new website and refreshed brand presence for Vulcan Minerals, a publicly traded Canadian mineral exploration company with deep roots in Newfoundland and Labrador.

With a long history in the industry, Vulcan's previous digital presence was built around a single-page website that no longer reflected the scale of the company, its projects, or its vision for the future. Our team partnered with Vulcan to create a fully redesigned website experience that better showcases its exploration portfolio, investor information, company news, and long-term growth strategy.

Built with accessibility, performance, and discoverability in mind, the new site features a modern user experience, a fully SEO-optimized structure, and accessibility-focused development to ensure important information is easy to access for all users across devices.

Say hi to Riley, our Student Web Developer 👋

Riley recently finished the Software Development program at College of the North Atlantic after three years of hard work, where he discovered his passion for development and technology. This September, he’ll be heading back to continue his studies in the Applied Degree in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. 🤖💻

He’s not exactly new around JAC’s halls either… and trust us, we’d know with his charismatic personality. 😄 During his time with the team, Riley’s been gaining hands-on experience through web development projects, learning new tools, and collaborating on digital work behind the scenes. His easygoing attitude and willingness to learn make him a great fit around here.

Outside of work, Riley enjoys taking it easy, spending time with friends, and making the most of his downtime. 🎸✨
