Drake just gave Canadian candy brand Candy Funhouse a major shoutout on Instagram 🍭

The boy shared a photo to his Instagram story showing a man holding what appears to be eight boxes of candy from the Canadian company.

Candy Funhouse has grown into one of Canada’s most recognizable online candy retailers, known for its massive selection of sweets, snacks and viral products.

Getting a co-sign from Drake could put even more eyes on the homegrown brand 🇨🇦

A new hidden garden café called Moonside has officially opened at 919 Queen St. W., across from Trinity Bellwoods 🌿☕️

The new pop-up concept is a collaboration between Laurie Fleming Jewellery and Archi Element, combining a café, artisanal design and a peaceful hidden garden tucked behind the Queen West storefront.

The menu includes specialty drinks such as matcha, hojicha, tea spritzes and other handcrafted beverages, served alongside creative desserts.
Moonside celebrated its grand opening on August 15–16 and is now welcoming visitors looking for one of Toronto’s newest hidden café experiences.

Toronto has a new Barbie-themed café and roller rink experience now open at 70 The Esplanade 💗🇨🇦

The Malibu Barbie Café brings a 1970s Malibu-inspired concept to downtown Toronto, featuring themed food and drinks, photo opportunities, immersive décor and an indoor roller rink.

The limited-time experience officially opened on August 13 and is expected to run until November 1.

Toronto’s Financial District is getting a new luxury dining concept as Raani prepares to open at 360 Bay Street 🇨🇦

The two-level, 162-seat Indian restaurant comes from restaurateur Ambica Jain and the team behind Michelin-recognized Adrak, bringing an upscale dining experience to the heart of downtown Toronto.

One of the most unique features of the new restaurant is an original bank vault located beneath the space, which is being transformed into a private event venue and eventually a hidden speakeasy.

Raani is expected to open soon, adding another high-end restaurant and nightlife concept to Toronto’s Bay Street corridor.

A new retro steakhouse is opening its doors in Toronto this tomorrow 🥩

Sonny Can’t Dance, the latest concept from Municipal Goods, is set to officially open at 788 King St. W. on August 13, bringing a new steakhouse experience to the city’s restaurant scene.

The restaurant will operate Wednesday through Saturday from 5 p.m. to midnight and has already started accepting reservations ahead of its highly anticipated opening. Located in the heart of King West, the new spot is expected to become one of Toronto’s newest destinations for steak lovers 🍷🥩

Original Shawarma is celebrating the grand opening of its new Brampton location this weekend with $3 large chicken shawarmas 🌯🇨🇦

The grand opening takes place Saturday, August 8 and Sunday, August 9 at 380 Bovaird Dr. E. in Brampton, giving customers the chance to check out the new location while taking advantage of the opening-weekend special.

Original Shawarma serves halal Middle Eastern cuisine, with a menu featuring chicken, lamb and veal shawarma, saj wraps, platters, family meals, mandi and more. Its existing GTA locations include Mississauga and Scarborough.
