Arab Otsuka Nutraceuticals Co. officially inaugurated its state-of-the-art factory in 10th of Ramadan City — the first Otsuka nutraceutical manufacturing facility in the Middle East and a new hub for producing and exporting Oronamin C to regional markets.

This milestone marks a new chapter in Otsuka’s 50-year journey in the Egyptian market and reflects the strength of Egyptian-Japanese cooperation, bringing together shared values of innovation, quality, and a long-standing culture of precision and trust in manufacturing.

: We are proud to support Lafarge Egypt, a member of Holcim Group, in launching ECOBuild Forum, a high-level strategic platform dedicated to shaping the future of sustainable construction in Egypt.

Hosted by H.E. Dr. Andreas Baum, Ambassador of Switzerland to Egypt, at the Swiss Residence, the forum brought together Holcim global leadership, real estate developers, architects, engineering consultants, and industry decision-makers to drive a forward-looking dialogue on accelerating the transition toward low-carbon building.

The discussions highlighted the urgent need to embed sustainability at the core of Egypt’s rapid urban expansion, addressing market readiness, certification frameworks, recycling of construction and demolition materials, and innovative low-carbon solutions that align with Egypt Vision 2030 and global Net Zero ambitions.
