Such an exciting day for this tennis fan! 🔥

1. One of my current favourites on court. If a win, I just might see him play live later this week! 😱
2. A friend making it to WTA500 draw for the first time in her career. So exciting! 🤩
3. From a Finnish perspective, this is a rare treat. 🇫🇮

And then I received a message from my coach saying the practice is at 3 pm today. Oh my, guess I’ll be playing tennis with a mobile attached to my forehead today. 😅

Suunnittelemani rollup on nyt esillä Tapiolan tennishallilla. 🎾

Teen työkseni paljon digitaalisia juttuja, verkkosivuja, visuaalisia identiteettejä ja markkinointimateriaaleja, m***a on aina ilo nähdä oma työ konkreettisesti osana tennisympäristöä. 🤩

Tennis on aina ollut iso osa elämääni, eri maissa ja eri rooleissa. Siksi mulle on erityisen merkityksellistä saada yhdistää oma ammattiosaaminen lajiin, joka on niin rakas.

🎾✨ This is an appreciation post of tennis connecting people.

One of the things I love about tennis is how effortlessly it connects people across the world. 🌍🎾

I just came back from Portugal, where I had the chance to meet wonderful players, coaches and tennis lovers at several clubs. Portugal is very very close to my heart — I always end up going back, and every visit reminds me why. 🇵🇹❤️

In the first photo I’m with Federico Gil — former ATP #62 — and João Lencastre, an amazing coach and tennis entrepreneur based in Ericeira on the Atlantic coast. 🙌

Trips like this remind me that tennis is so much more than just a sport. For me it’s also communities, stories, and friendships that go far beyond language or borders. Thank you Portugal — and thank you tennis. 💚

Me & my trusted Yonex Ezone 98 back in action in Portugal after 7 months away. I am so grateful to be able to travel to this beautiful country every now and then, and play tennis. 🎾🇵🇹

If you ever find yourself in Ericeira, do contact João at for a lesson. He seems like an excellent coach, judging by just one single lesson I had today. Will luckily be able to have many many more during our stay. 🤩

Parhaat kirjamessut on sellaiset kirjamessut, jossa yhdistyy mun kaksi intohimoa, tennis ja kirjat. Musa kyllä kuuluu tähän joukkoon myös ja onneksi messujen yhteydessä oli myös levymessut. Tiedän, että kuvan kaksi Björn Borg -kirjan tiimoilta haastateltavana ollut tyylikäs herra on samoilla linjoilla! 🎾📚🎼

🤩 Ensimmäinen Björn Borgin ns. itsensä kirjoittama elämäkerta julkaistiin pari viikkoa sitten toimesta. Kävin kuuntelemassa mietteet kirjasta Helsingin Kirjamessuilla.

I don’t know about you, but I’m getting pretty sick of the weather where I’m currently at (I’m looking at you, Finland)! The tennis carousel never ends but what we all look forward to the most in the yearly tennis calendar, are of course the Slams. 🔵🟠🟢🔵

The next Slam is of course The French Open aka Roland Garros. And when it’s RG time, it also means it’s summer (more or less) in Europe. And that, my friends, is exactly 116 days from today. Hang in there, people! ☀️🌼🌿🏖️

Since it’s AO time which means blue courts and sun, I thought I’d take you to my favourite blue courts and sun location; Lisboa Racket Centre in Lisbon, Portugal. 🔵☀️

We spend quite a bit of time in Lisbon every year, so naturally I’ve had to find a place to get my tennis fix. I first visited the club in February 2022. The staff from the front desk to the coaches was instantly so welcoming that I knew this had to be ’my home club away from my home club’. 💙

The clubhouse has a nice restaurant with plenty of options for food and lots of space to work. They also have a good gym (which I haven’t used…oops…), massage/osteopath services and a small tennis shop. The big terrace overlooks the show court and is a beautiful place to enjoy lunch or coffee.

There are 8 outdoor tennis courts (lots of padel ones as well) around the green grass and palm tree grounds. The sun seems to shine at LRC, always. I think we’ve had to cancel play only once during these years due to rain – and I visit LRC winter, spring and autumn (not summer, too hot!).

I’ve spent numerous hours hitting on these courts with my coach Luís and can whole-heartedly recommend Lisboa Racket Centre to anyone interested in playing tennis in Lisbon. Book a lesson with Luís ( ) and say hi from me! 🤩

After the recent news around Elena Rybakina and her ex/current (who knows…) coach Stefan Vukov’s WTA suspension pending an independent code of conduct investigation, I thought this would be a good time to recommend a brilliant movie around the same difficult theme.

🎬 I’ll just start by saying that this beautiful indie film is by far the best tennis film released in 2024. There are so many ways you can present tennis on the big white screen…

Julie Keeps Quiet is a thoughtful and quiet drama about a young tennis player, Julie, whose coach is accused of serious misconduct. Instead of speaking up, Julie focuses on her training, balancing her silence with the pressure around her.

✨ Tessa Van den Broeck, .van_den_broeck , a real tennis player, brings honesty to her role, especially in the sports scenes. The film’s slow pace reflects Julie’s quiet struggle, with subtle visuals adding to the mood. It really is a visually stunning film.

This is a serious and emotional film about strength and choices. And by far the best tennis film of 2024. 🎾

For me, the fact that the film was created in association with Hana K**a with Naomi Osaka herself as an executive producer, is of course in itself guarantee of style & high quality. Thanks to Hana Kuma, this important Story now has a worldwide audience.

Director: Leonardo van Dijl

Released in Europe already in the autumn 2024. Opening in the US in January.
