Worried about GDPR when collating email addresses of relevant stakeholders, healthcare professionals and VIPs for your care homes?

Here’s my take on how to be GDPR-compliant.

1. Use publicly available emails (e.g. those listed on websites).

2. State clearly you’re emailing people under “legitimate interest” (which you are)

Plus:

✅ Be upfront and honest about why you’re contacting them

✅ Personalise the email – send it from a real person, such as your care home manager

✅ Include an easy unsubscribe option
