The legend that is Tim Power.

Tim clocked off for retirement today after 22 years and 2 months with us.

What a guy. What a writer. What a colleague.

We'll miss you day to day Tim but we're delighted you want to do a little bit of writing for us in 2026.

We wish you and your amazing wife Shirley a very long and happy retirement together. Shirley retired this week after more than 40 years' service in teaching.

We loved getting the team together on Thursday for our annual Coffee Morning in support of Macmillan Cancer Support. 🧁💚 The day was filled with sweet treats (both baked and store-bought 🤫), a cake-related quiz (do you know which cake is traditionally eaten on Mardi Gras?) and a raffle draw! Our Star Baker of the day was Senior Account Manager Roisin McGroarty, pictured here with our very own Tim Hollywood (Tim Power)! Roisin received the coveted Power Pat as well as her Star Baker spoon for, what Tim said, were the "best empire biscuits he's ever had – and I don't even like them!"

🍰 But the real icing on the cake? It was all for a great cause. We smashed our fundraising target and raised an incredible £270 for Macmillan Cancer Support, in the charity's 35th year of Coffee Mornings. 🎂 Thank you to all who donated and to Macmillan Cancer Support for ensuring those living with cancer never feel alone and always have access to care, information and support. 💚

We are deeply sad that our long-time friend Andrew Collier passed away on 13 September.

Andy was a leading light in Scottish journalism for many years and one of our writing team when David Cameron started the company in the late 90s. Andy then made the move to PR and joined the SNP’s communications team where he was media adviser and speechwriter to the first minister before reverting to his freelance life and joining us again as our associate writer. The SNP’s loss was our gain and that second term with us lasted almost 10 years until he retired last year.

Andy’s life will be celebrated on Wednesday 1 October at 10am at St Bridget’s Church, 12 Polnoon Street, Eaglesham G76 0BH, followed by a committal at Linn Crematorium, 413 Lainshaw Drive, Glasgow G45 9SP at 11am. Afterwards, all are invited to a reception at the Eglinton Arms Hotel, Gilmour Street, Eaglesham G76 0LG to celebrate his life.

All who knew and loved Andy are welcome to attend.

Our condolences to his wife Maggie Stanfield, daughter Anne Marie, grandson Rupert, and all family, friends and former colleagues.

We were thrilled to attend the International Institute of Risk and Safety Management (IIRSM) Risk Excellence Awards 2025, which highlighted the organisations, teams and individuals who champion risk excellence. This year marked an extra special occasion with the Institute celebrating its 50th anniversary, and we were also pleased to attend their Forum50 event to mark this important milestone for the organisation! Our team provided a communications strategy, print collateral, presentation slides and social media promotion for both events.

Chairman and Owner David Cameron and Senior Account Manager Fiona Ramsay were delighted (and pleasantly surprised!) to be presented with a certificate of appreciation for our significant contribution in IIRSM's activities, including a membership comms strategy, the Sentinel magazine, social media management and much more!

Our huge congratulations to IIRSM and to all the award winners and finalists! 🥳

Love is in the air for our libraries this Valentine’s Day! 💕

We were delighted to support the National Library of Scotland with the Love Libraries campaign, a nationwide and multi-stakeholder project with enormous cultural significance.

🎯 What was the objective of the campaign?

To encourage people to share their love for their local libraries and the positive impacts they have had on their lives while also reinforcing the greater appreciation and use of libraries and their staff.

✅ How was this achieved?

Our team supported NLS with a media release template, liaising with stakeholders, building a communications toolkit, collecting and copywriting case studies and more!
