What do we need to do more of?

Talk about our Facilities Management System!

OnSight is already being used by Merseyrail and Stadler, so it’s a proven system for helping organisations save time, reduce admin and make day-to-day operations easier.

We’re now putting more focus on showing how OnSight can work for property and facilities management too - managing inspections, compliance, maintenance, contractors, recurring tasks and all the other things that can otherwise end up spread across spreadsheets, emails and paperwork.

Lucy is heading to Hard Hats to Heels in York tonight, and she’ll be taking our new leaflets along, ready to chat about how OnSight can be used in the property sector.

We are looking for introductions to people who work in property and are managing multiple properties, for instance, and juggling things like tenancies, reminders about safety certificates, cleaning and all the other things that need keeping track of.

Or perhaps people working in places like warehouses who have to keep track of a lot of stock coming in from different places.
We (pictured after the NatWest Accelerator summer event yesterday in York) have a facilities management tool that is currently used by Merseyrail and Stadler in Liverpool. It helps with things like cleaners, rosters, security and general facilities management.

We’re now hoping to develop a smaller version for smaller businesses, so I’d really like to speak to people who might have a use for something like this.

We would be very happy to have a chat and explain a bit more if anyone is intrigued. There’s absolutely no pressure either way, and we'd be just as interested in hearing about the problems you have that we might be able to solve.

The new website is currently in development, so we will share that soon - the old one is a bit naff!

It's international dog day! Here is our dog Klara - who has never been out of Yorkshire so isn't that international. But hey, she's still cute at 14 years old. Unfortunately it's hard for her to get up stairs to the office, so she spends most of her time downstairs - asking for food, sleeping and occasionally barking at a cat or dog who dares walk past the house.

If only she could help us deign and code websites, she'd earn her food more!

If you do one thing today, take a look at the wonderful work that Hospice Aid UK do.

They are a small charity are are a lifeline to hospices when they need extra funds to help buy specialist equipment and fund frontline care. From hand held fans to cleaning out ball pits, they've helped hundreds of hospices in the 20+ years they've been running.

We designed their new website using Wordpress and Joanna Aitkens from Aitkens Media wrote the wonderful copy. We are continuing to support them with website updates and blogging.

They are really struggling with funds, like lots of small charities. If you find yourself in the lucky position to help a charity, please bare them in mind - there are details of how to donate on their site.
