This isn't an AD! Well... not a real one 🥸 This is an AD revamp I have undergone for Canoe & Kayak Adventures. See the before in the comments below. Which do you prefer?
What the business owners want to know:

I've redesigned this photo to promote the job vacancies and catch people's attention. To do so, I have rewritten the copy to make the job description more digestible and easy to skim through. People scroll through their FB feeds very fast!

New copy:
The Dream Job 🤙 We are looking for evening tour guides for our unique bioluminescence kayaking adventures. On-the-job training, equipment provided, great team with $45-55 p/h pay. Head to our website to Learn More.

I suggested having the full job description on their website and having the Apply Now link take people to that page to learn more.

An ad to get your taste buds tingling! ✨ This is an ad revamp for a local restaurant in Parnel. Check out the before in the comments, which do you prefer?
The expert stuff...
I have simplified the on-image copy and created a more eye-catching and modern design. The copy on your click-through link has been updated as well. From testing, I have found that 'See Menu' works the best as there is no obligation to purchase from the customer upfront.

To go along with the new image below I would suggest the following copy:
Prime-time Cocktails 🍸 Join us mid-week and taste your way through our delicious menu. 18 cocktails to choose from, at only $12 each! Who are you shouting?

In reagrds to putting a budget behind the ad, I would suggest a Conversion Buy as the goal is to get viewers to engage with the ad, tagging friends they would take along, saving the deal for later, seeing the restaurant location etc.

What if you want to hero multiple photos? 🤔 This refresh was done for Cafe Botannix. Check out the strategy and the before & after below.
To improve the ad, I have reduced the images down to the best 4, and heroed both food and location images. The cafe has incredible looking food 😍

In regards to putting budget behind the ad, I suggested a Reach Buy as the goal is to get as many eyes on the ad as possible. I would then suggest a retargeting ad with an amazing deal to bring the same people into the funnel to purchase from the cafe.

BEFORE & AFTER 🔍 What do you think looks the best?

This challenge is from Auckland's leading Ferry Service. See the redesign and ad suggestions below. After is in blue 💙
I have taken a lot of copy from the image and moved it into the supporting copy/caption. This makes the asset easy to digest in one quick glance. Ideal for fast scrollers! For those who want to learn more, they will check the caption.

The updated copy leads with the deal as this is the 'draw in' factor. Descriptive words have been added to create visuals and provoke feelings in the reader.

The Facebook Ad section is simplified by taking away the link, and the call to action button changed to GET OFFER, driving urgency and highlighting the great deal!

This side hustle/art style has become more about quality than quantity as it has slowly grown over the last 2 years.

It is a delight when orders come through and the discussions start on how we are going to turn a photograph into an art piece that will be treasured for year's to come.

I use a variety of high-quality software and am always exploring and looking for new programs to expand my artwork. However, my go-to for many years has been Adobe Photoshop. It was the first program I learn to use and is what I currently use today.

Adobe is incredible, it is the highest quality software for graphic design of all kinds. Photoshop is where I create my customised digital art and Illustrator is where I create my top quality vector business graphics.

All of these Adobe platforms are run off of my MacBook Air. It is lightweight, reliable and has lots of power to run the large Adobe software.
