You go hun! Hit those business goals & figure out a way to MAKE IT WORK. 🔥🙌

Starting your own business is SCARY. I get it, especially with the naysayers.

Think about the person saying, "that's not going to work."

Are they business consultants in your industry? Have they done extensive market research for you? (probably not) Have they tried a similar business model to you & it's not worked for them?

Really think about the type of person giving you this unsolicited advice.

Look, I feel ya, some of the remarks I would get…

"Can you actually make money from that?"
"How's your cute little project going?"

But sometimes, you need to take a step back & look at all the cool things you've achieved.

Celebrate you. 🥳

It's a bumpy & sometimes stressful road.

Now I am all for posting away and letting go of perfectionism - but sometimes things might get overlooked. 👀

The key things you need to focus on is - does this help my audience & does this relate to my niche?

I do love to see everyone's wins! It's great to celebrate success & look back on what you've achieved. 🎊

I think it's also important to note, behind the scenes. Fear of failure, having a bad week, overwhelm and tears, don't forget about business tears. Yup, me, at times - we all feel like this at some point & THAT'S COMPLETELY NORMAL. ❤️

What helps me is going back to my WHY. I want to help women grow their businesses with the power of Instagram marketing. 📈

I honestly believe that if you're working on your goals consistently, stepping out of your comfort zone and taking those mistakes as lessons, you're in for the win. 🏆

🌷SHAPE UP YOUR CONTENT STRATEGY
🌷Insights - what does your audience love?
🌷Try new content - what haven’t you tried yet?
🌷Engage with new accounts
🌷Engage with your followers content.
🌷Include a CTA in EVERY POST - encourage people to engage.

I am not saying you have to engage for hours - but just 30mins a day or honestly whatever you can do. No pressure - just try to level up what you were doing before. 💗

I posted a poll the other week, and everyone wanted to know how to grow on Instagram. I’ll be candid. Growing takes TIME and persistence. Unless you make a few reels that happen to go viral, it’s a lot of work. There’s no easy formula. But, there are hacks you can use - like the ones above.

But the key is a content strategy. 🔥

I am one of those woo-woo types who LOVES affirmations.

I believe mindset is key to running a business and literally anything you do in life.

It’s so easy to get into the trap of perfectionism, hustle culture, not feeling good enough and imposter syndrome. I find affirmations help. 

The magical and talented biz and mindset coach helped me develop a few of these key affirmations in a coaching session. 💫✨

P.S 

I don’t believe in being positive all the time. I don’t want to pipe on about toxic positivity. Some of my affirmations are built on self-acceptance. E.g. making mistakes and still being worthy. Being imperfect is perfect. Accepting both sides is so important. Yin and yang perspective, you need the bad and the good.

I was known amongst my friends to archive photos on my personal gram that I thought didn’t go with my aesthetic. 🤦‍♀️ 🤢 😂

But no more. 🙌

I think as business owner's we overthink a lot, especially when it comes to how we portray our brand across socials. But you don't need to have the “perfect feed” - what does that mean anyway?

What really matters is:
> Authenticity
> Adding value
> Creating connections

Don't get me wrong; I believe you should be including your branding colours, fonts and messaging etc. But what I am saying is don't let your perfectionism get in the way of creating content.

You've got this - trust in yourself and your abilities. 💪

There are now 4.48 billion social media users around the world, which is equal to almost 57% of the world's total population.(according to Hootsuite July 2021 report)

By using more platforms, you're expanding your reach and audience.

A common and effective strategy is leveraging TikTok to grow your Instagram audience.

Cross purpose your content across Facebook and youtube etc., you get the idea.

100% there are social media crossovers; I have multiple accounts. But your audience might miss your gram content, but they might stumble upon your youtube channel.

I think it's important to note where your audience lives before posting all over the show. But I highly recommend using more than one!

Also, something else to keep in mind is quality. If it's not viable for you right now to post across multiple platforms, that's okay! Just do what you can and do it well. Better to have one epic post on one forum than five posts that might not be your best.

But in time - make it a goal to reach more people!
