A new batch of grip wraps cut and rolled ready for making new polearms and cosplay props. We are skipping this Armageddon Expo due to some unforeseen issues but I will be back in October for Armageddon with the new collaboration - the watch.

Come join me across at my new collaboration adventure at The Watch where I am teaming up with a fellow creator and cosplayer to create fantasy/medieval inspired outfits and accessories to help get people into cosplaying.

Apologies for the page disappearing and reappearing. .

This page will be shutting down eventually but if you need dragons or anything else you can still message me at The Watch.

A big thank you to everyone who has been a part of my journey with Dragoncove3D. It has been an amazing adventure and I have had a lot of fun talking 3D printing with so many of you in person around the country over the past 4? years. Wow that time went quickly.

While I have been pretty quiet on here this year I have been helping with 4 teams of dedicated student engineers as they build electric go karts to race. Yesterday we took them down to Hampton Downs and had a great time. Very proud of all the teams.

Team 003 (TTTeam who where fast but we think just missed out on podium - still waiting for the full results to publish), Goo Goo Ga Ga (who built their kart out of a pram and got the award for second place in the engineering category with 3D printed steering gearing), Lumino (who snapped the drive axle, melted a fuse, and broke a chain but kept spirits high), the the yellow hornets who won overall in category taking home 4 trophys and a number of 2nd and 3rd place runner up in events.
Super proud of all of them. Great attitude, perseverance, and support shown by all even when things didn't go as planned.

EVolocity team, thank you for a great day and we are looking forward to next year.

Had a great time and looking forward to next year.
Daniel

Exciting news from our lovely freinds over at KiwiFil who have managed to step up the filament recycling game even more.

— The recycling lover’s dream! —
Filament made from 100% recycled 3D _prints_ is now available in five colours. 😮 🧡❤️💙💜💚 Broken Baby Yoda, dinosaurs with missing legs, and prototypes that didn’t fit have now been reincarnated and are ready for a new life!

We did it! And you helped! 😃 Five years ago we started KiwiFil to recycle discarded prints into high quality filament at a commercial scale. The challenge turned out to be much greater than we first expected, but we are finally there. Thanks to our awesome customers returning clean and neatly sorted prints, we managed to turn them into filament that prints like virgin (new) material.

These five rPLA pro colours are just the beginning; more colours and rPETG should be ready shortly.

But we didn’t stop at recycling the prints - this range of filament will exclusively be delivered on re-used spools and packaged in re-used boxes. Not only the prints deserve a second life - even the packaging does. And as always, you can get your filament on refilled, AMS-friendly plastic spools upon request.

If you love recycling as much as we do, this is the ultimate recycling bonanza for you! ♻️♻️

The sleeping dragon is starting to reawaken.
We will be at the fantastic Convergence event hosted by the lovely team at Waikato Role-Playing Guild in a few weeks time.
Grab a ticket and come along for a fantastical weekend of roleplay games.

We will have some of our new cosplay products there along with conducting some experiments on new products with our new fancy machine.
