What we learned this last couple of weeks that, there is a great difference in between FB ad and LinkedIn ad platform. although FB has over 2.2. Billion active users, LinkedIn’s 550 Million. Although, In some case business choose to use LinkedIn because of their products and services and their target audience. As a digital marketer, you will continually face the question about which platform to use to drive your business forward ads to target professional demographics. I think generally marketers use Facebook for B2C marketing, investing in LinkedIn if B2B is your priority.
We are using LinkedIn platform for our per-campaign report as per the business requested. Triquestra LinkedIn 1,172 followers. LinkedIn add manager interface is bit different that FB ad manager. We have their Campaign group – Campaign than ads.
In last week, we also learned and applied KPI and matrices for our brand awareness campaign. Most importantly we have to understand the difference between KPI’s and matrices. KPIs are measurable values that show you how effective you are at achieving business objectives. Metrics are different in that they simply track the status of a specific business process. In short, KPIs track whether you hit business objectives/targets, and metrics tracking processes. We came to know that, All KPIs are considered as metrics, but not all Metrics can be KPIs.
selection is bit different too in LinkedIn platform, we can choose from three advertising formats on LinkedIn,
• Text ads are pay-per-click (CPC) or cost-per-impression (CPM) ads that appear down the right-hand side of your LinkedIn home page on desktop. They’re available in four formats: square, tall, horizontal, and long.
• Sponsored content is advertising that appears directly in the LinkedIn feeds of professionals you want to reach. Single-image ads, carousel ads, and video ads can be displayed on desktop and mobile.
• Message ads (previously known as sponsored InMail) let you deliver personalized content through LinkedIn Messenger. You purchase them on a cost-per-send basis, which means you only pay for each message that gets delivered on desktop and mobile.
