How many times in a day would you open the map on your phone to navigate, find or search for a business? When you consider the number of people (all 8.8 million) who use their iPhones in the same way, the importance of capitalising on Apple users is undeniable. Make sure your business is featured in all the environments where your customers are looking. Follow these steps to get a verified listing on Apple Maps!

Step 1. Visit Apple Maps Connect.
Step 2. Login or create a new Apple ID. Click the blue arrow to proceed.
Step 3. You will be prompted to a menu called “Small Business.” Click “Add My Business”
Step 4. Read and agree to the Terms of Use.
Step 5. Enter your business name and location to find your listing in the Apple Maps directory. If not found, click “Add new place.”
Step 6. Enter all required business information.
Step 7. Click “Call me now” to trigger a phone call to your business. Over the phone, you will receive a 4-digit code that you will need to enter on the screen.
Step 8. Click “Claim this place” or “Submit for review.”

3. Prominence - Listing yourself in multiple online directories will increase your prominence online. . Google rewards businesses that are consistently active online and appear in a variety of directories.

4. Location – Are you telling Google where you offer your service or sell your product? You can optimise your service areas on your Google listing to increase your visibility in areas surrounding your local suburb.
