On Friday 22 October, the Government announced an economic support package for businesses affected by the COVID higher alert levels, as the country transitions to the new COVID-19 Protection Framework.

$60 million will be made available for business advice and planning support, implementation of that advice, and mental health and wellbeing support to help Auckland businesses through the COVID transition period.

Auckland businesses will be able to apply for up to $3000 worth of advice and planning support, and then receive up to $4,000 to implement that advice through the established Regional Business Partners programme.

As part of the package, $10 million will be available for mental health and wellbeing support through a programme to be designed with the EMA and Auckland Chamber of Commerce.

It is expected that the programme design for delivering the funding will be launched week commencing 15th November.

Designer Digital has submitted an Expression of Interest to deliver our How to Digital Marketing Programme to Auckland businesses under the package.

Today at 1651 UTC, we opened an internal incident entitled "Facebook DNS lookup returning SERVFAIL" because we were worried that something was wrong with our DNS resolver 1.1.1.1. But as we were about to post on our public status page we realized something else more serious was going on.
