We’ve had this one in our back pocket for a while, but we’ve decided to launch it on our 15 Year Anniversary, 3rd March 2026.

Born and raised in the 09, we are proud to call this place home. Diversity is at its best in Auckland, with its vibrant Polynesian communities.

At Random Graphix, we are proud to represent our many Pasifika cultures. It is our Samoan heritage that connected us to one of Grey Lynn’s finest, Tyla Vaeau. Back in 2019, Tyla shared her gift of tatau with us, a moment we deeply cherish.

The O~NINE tee showcases the beautiful markings of the taulima. We are grateful to have connected with Tyla and highly recommend our Vaeau Aiga for your next tatau journey.

At Tyla’s request, we will be donating a portion of the profits made from these tees to Pasifika groups or Programmes.

On the 3rd of March this year, Random Graphix celebrates 15 years in business.
We started in 2011 with a second-hand printing carousel we named “CANDY” in our garage. Phil came from a screen-printing background and I was working in the corporate world at Coca-Cola. What began as a side hustle for a bit of extra income quickly became something much bigger when we found out we were expecting our first baby.
Our “why” shifted straight away — from extra cash to building something that could support our growing family.
For the past 15 years, we’ve run Random Graphix in a way that allows us to be present parents. We haven’t missed school trips, camps, or big moments. Being able to show up for our kids has always been our priority.
In 2021, we moved from our garage into our local Kelston community. Like many businesses across Aotearoa, the COVID years were tough, but thanks to the support of our loyal customers and local businesses, we’ve made it through and are still here doing what we love.
We’ve been lucky to work alongside so many amazing people, businesses and organisations, and from the bottom of our hearts, thank you. Your ongoing support has helped us build not just a business, but a life for our family.
Now in 2026, our kids aren’t so little anymore and our focus is shifting again. Our new “why” is connection and giving back — supporting our long-time customers, our community and new faces with quality screen printing, embroidery, sublimation and more.
We’re also excited to be bringing back our Random Apparel range this year.
Time to bring the “Say Less for Custom Threads” motto to a different level….watch this space.

Celebration Szn is coming up…get in contact if you know anyone who would be keen on our graduation/celebration stoles. We did them for our own village babies last year and we got heaps of awesome feedback.

Nothing makes it more official moving into a new premises than some awesome signage from our mates at Garth and his crew are the best in the game if you need some signage done or your car wrapped.
