Loved this interview. And the show is delivering and people are going bananas. Silo Theatre are knocking it outta the park this year. Get involved while you still can. JOB is on at Q until 20 September.

Max Wolf Friedlich is being celebrated for writing the play Job, a testy two-hander which knits together the world of therapy and big tech to create a tense stand-off between actors Peter Friedman and Sydney Lemmon. But while the play, which recently opened on Broadway, is seeing Wolf Friedlich's na...

First line-up drop is out for

, , , , ,.jai and a whole lot more are heading to Cross Street on Saturday 28 November.

We’re also loving this year’s incredible hand-painted artwork by Tanja McMillan / Misery, featuring The Magician, a fitting symbol of manifestation, resourcefulness and turning ideas into action.

This is just the first drop with plenty more to come.

Big love to Anya Vitali and the Cross Street team for continuing to back independent music, new artists and the brilliant creative community around Karangahape Road.

Cross Street is going beyond Cross Street!

We’re very excited to be working with Cross Street Music Festival as it returns for its eighth year, and its biggest yet.

Supported by Auckland Live and Auckland Council Events, this year the festival is spreading its wings. On Saturday 28 November, it spills out across K’ Road, Mercury Lane and Cross Street for a day and night of music, art, performance and plenty of unexpected things along the way.

This year’s theme is INFINITY, eight years in, and a celebration of the endless creativity, energy and characters that make K’ Road what it is.

From 12pm, it’s free and open to everyone across the precinct, before the ticketed Cross Street Music Festival kicks in from 4pm.

The line-up? Ooooooh, it’s a goodie.

To be announced very soon 👀

We've absolutely loved working with and Tom Smith from on this one. They're genuinely lovely humans, and Jackson has created something AWESOME.

Built from a real interview with a truck driver, Over & Out is funny, moving and beautifully observed. It turns out truck drivers tell the best stories so come and give em a listen.

Jackson won Actor of the Year and Most Promising Newcomer at the 2025 Wellington Theatre Awards.

One actor.
One interview.
50 minutes.

Make a night of it. Book a table at go on!

Wellington audiences got a very special surprise when Sir Ian McKellen made an unexpected appearance at the sold-out screening of There’s a Hole in My Bucket at

The film follows , great-grandson of J.R.R. Tolkien, as he takes on an extraordinary bucket list left by his late brother Mike, a funny and incredibly moving journey across New Zealand, narrated by Benedict Cumberbatch.

And Sir Ian McKellen wasn’t the only surprise guest, Young Sheldon star Iain Armitage dropped in too.

A pretty special night for Doc Edge Wellington.

“Trust me on this. If you haven’t already acquired a ticket for the short run of this production, hop to it. Because, in the decades to come, you’ll want to be one of those fortunate enough to say, ‘Oh yes, I saw Izzard’s solo version of Hamlet. I was there.’ You know, like Woodstock or the Beatles on the roof of the Apple building.’”
