Our team at BPAC Services handled the entire process—from the initial industrial design and structural engineering to custom artwork creation and kitting. It was vital that these boxes not only protected the heavy, fresh produce but also served as premium influencer and gifting kits to tell the story of our hardworking local growers.

Subaru Returns – The GRX Concept
A BPAC Services AI-powered Industrial Design Exploration

At BPAC Services, we believe great industrial design is about process, not just pixels.

As a lifelong Subaru fan, I wanted to explore what could happen if Subaru and Toyota Gazoo Racing ever partnered more deeply at the WRC level. Using a Toyota GR Yaris and Gazoo WRC as the technical base, I developed the Subaru Returns – GRX Concept — a modern Subaru WRC machine imagined through BPAC’s AI-assisted design workflow.

This project was created using:
✔ ChatGPT for concept architecture, motorsport DNA analysis, platform logic & design direction
✔ Nano Banana Pro for rapid visual iteration, surfacing ideas, proportions and colour exploration
✔ BPAC’s traditional industrial design methodology to refine stance, balance, brand language & production realism

AI didn’t replace design thinking — it accelerated it.
What once took weeks of sketching, CAD blocking and client revisions now happens in days, allowing us to spend more time on strategy, engineering logic and brand storytelling.

Could this have been an exciting partnership for Subaru and Toyota? I think so.

Like most people, finding time for personal development during the year can be tough. That’s why I like to spend my holidays a bit differently.

I’ve been experimenting with AI in the BPAC design workflow to speed up concept development for our clients. My test project? Taking the 2026 Subaru Outback and turning it into a Baja Ute — and it’s awesome.

I’ve been experimenting with AI in the BPAC design workflow to speed up concept development for our clients. My test project? Taking the 2026 Subaru Outback — credit to the amazing Subaru Design team for making it such a fantastic base — and turning it into a Baja Ute. And it’s awesome.

I was able to modify photos, create a 3D rendering, and even produce technical orthographic drawings. Along the way, I’ve been pushing Adobe Firefly, ChatGPT, and Nano Banana to see how AI can enhance creativity without replacing it.

Here’s to 2026 — and remember to carve out some time to improve your own skills and development, even when life gets busy!
