A few weeks ago, one of our team members threw out a challenge to Ryan...

Now he's committed to taking part in this year's Raine & Horne Big Splash in support of Rachel's House Trust 💦🥶

As a business, we're proud to support organisations that make a positive difference in our community, and Rachel's House Trust is one of those organisations. Through their work, they provide vital support, resources, and care to women, children, and whānau across North Canterbury. 💛

The Big Splash is a fantastic community event that brings together local businesses, families, and supporters to raise funds for a great cause. While there'll be plenty of laughs watching participants take an icy plunge, the impact of the fundraising goes far beyond the night itself.

If you'd like to get behind Ryan and support Rachel's House Trust, we'd love your support. Every donation, no matter the size, helps make a difference.

Over the past year, we've had the pleasure of working alongside Rawiri and the team at Power Jointing (PJL), and it's been awesome getting a closer look at the important work they do across Canterbury 💡

From delivering their rebrand through to launching a new website and capturing content on-site, it's been great watching the PJL brand continue to grow and evolve!

Seeing their new branding rolled out across vehicles, equipment, and projects throughout the region has been especially rewarding.

What stands out most is the people 🤝 Every time we visit a PJL site, we're always welcomed by a team that's professional, respectful, and proud of what they do. They're the kind of crew that make every shoot enjoyable and every project easy to be part of.

Working with PJL has also given us a greater appreciation for the infrastructure many of us take for granted. Whether it's powering homes and businesses or upgrading street lighting across our communities, there's a huge amount of expertise and effort that goes into keeping things running safely and reliably.

These photos are from a recent shoot capturing PJL's street lighting upgrade project for the Waimakariri District Council. Another great example of the work their team delivers behind the scenes every day.

📢 A big shout out to Rawiri and the entire PJL team 🙌 Thanks for having us along for the journey so far.

We always enjoy getting out on site with your crew and look forward to seeing what's next!

What David Dicker and the Rodin Cars team continue to do for motorsport is pretty remarkable. Their support has helped open doors for some of New Zealand’s top racing talent, including drivers like Liam Lawson and Louis Sharp, and this programme continues that commitment to the next generation.

This recent film production job was a special project to be part of as we captured the Formula Ford to Formula 1 Pathway Programme and the opportunity it created for young drivers like Marco Manson and Sebastian Eskandari-Marandi.

It’s always a privilege for our team to help tell these stories, and the full video is well worth a watch on YouTube - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MGSBlkEY1eA

A big congratulations to Hamish and the entire HGM Construction Ltd team on celebrating 20 years in business 🎉👏

It's an incredible achievement and one that reflects years of hard work, consistency, strong leadership, and a commitment to doing things the right way. What makes it even more impressive is that Hamish started HGM at a very young age and has continued to grow and evolve the business over the last two decades.

We've had the privilege of working alongside Hamish and the team for a number of years now, and it's been awesome to watch their journey. Whether we're capturing content on-site, working on new projects behind the scenes, or simply catching up, the HGM team are always great people to work with.

One of the best parts of what we do is seeing our clients succeed, grow, and reach milestones like this. We're grateful to play a small part in that journey and appreciate the trust Hamish and his team have placed in us over the years.

Congratulations again on 20 years. We look forward to seeing what the next chapter holds for Hamish, Katy, and the entire HGM Construction team.

Here's to the next 20 🚀

We're proud to share another project we've produced with the team at Rodin Cars.

This latest video follows Marco Manson and Sebastian Eskandari-Marandi as they take part in the Formula Ford to Formula 1 Pathway Programme, an initiative designed to identify and support emerging motorsport talent.

What makes this story so compelling is what's at stake. For these young drivers, strong performances could lead to further opportunities with Rodin Motorsport and the chance to continue their development on the international stage.

A big thanks to Mark Williamson, David Dicker, the Rodin Cars team, Marco and Sebastian for allowing us to help tell the story.

We hope you enjoy the video as much as we enjoyed producing it 🎥🙌

💙 Merrin, our Operations Manager, and Vanessa, our Print Production Manager, pictured outside our High Street print shop helping support the launch of the Winter Care Drive campaign 👏

At MoMac we believe strong communities are built when local people and businesses support each other 🤝

This winter, we’re proud to support Community Wellbeing North Canterbury Trust and their Winter Care Drive initiative. The work their team does across our region makes a real difference for local individuals and whānau facing tough times during the colder months 💙

Behind the scenes, there are countless hours of care, coordination, advocacy, and voluntary effort that go into supporting people with food, warmth, wellbeing support, and practical day-to-day needs. It’s important work, and we’re grateful to play a small part in helping bring this campaign to life through creative and design support.

A big thanks as well to for producing the campaign signage and continuing to support great local initiatives across North Canterbury.

We’re also proud to be a drop-off location for the Winter Care Drive at our Create Design Print Shop on High Street, Rangiora.

If you’re able to help this winter, every contribution makes a difference.

You can donate food, essential items, or support financially through the campaign below: www.wellbeingnc.org.nz/winter-care-drive

Thanks to Chelsea and the Community Wellbeing North Canterbury team for everything you do for our community 🫶

Proud to see this one out in the world with the team at WK Advisors and Accountants.

This was a seriously fun project to shoot and produce for the Christchurch team, helping tell the story behind the people and partnerships that drive their business forward.

Big thanks to Aaron Cassidy and the entire WK team for having us involved and trusting us to bring this testimonial to life.

From strategy through to filming and editing, this is the kind of storytelling work we love being part of.

Maybe it’s Nobeline!

This one was a small project with a lot of punch 🎥😎

From the start, we knew we wanted to do something different for a subdivision campaign. The challenge was getting the key messaging across while still making the video entertaining enough for people to actually want to watch it.

The creative process behind this one was a lot of fun. From scripting and storyboarding through to developing the treatment, we leaned into the idea of creating something light-hearted and memorable rather than your typical subdivision promo.

One thing that made this concept work so well was the Freedom Built team. If you follow them online, you’ll know they already have a great sense of humour and personality, so getting different team members involved on camera felt like a natural fit from day one 😅

The shoot itself was super relaxed, fun, and easy to work through. Even though everything was planned and scripted, we stayed fluid throughout the day and made a few pivots as different shots and moments revealed themselves. Often those little spontaneous changes are what give projects extra character.

The knockout punch was definitely the closing scene and CTA. “Maybe it’s Nobeline” became the perfect creative thread throughout the video. Maybe it’s the place you see yourself living. Maybe it’s the place you see yourself building. Maybe it just feels right.

At the end of the day, buying a home is a decision. So… maybe it’s Nobeline.

Big thanks to Freedom Built for trusting us with this project and to the MoMac crew for pulling together another fun little masterpiece 🎬
