🔥 QUICK LASER TIP 🔥
Before you send that design to the laser…
LOOK AT IT AT ACTUAL ENGRAVING SIZE.
Seriously.
A design can look absolutely badass when it's filling your entire computer screen.
Then you shrink it down to 2–3 inches and suddenly:
❌ Small gaps disappear
❌ Fine lines start running together
❌ Tiny details become meaningless
❌ Important features lose definition
Here's the easy test:
Shrink your artwork on screen until it's roughly the same physical size as the finished engraving.
Then look at it WITHOUT zooming back in.
Can you still clearly understand the design?
Can you still see the important details?
Does the negative space still separate everything?
If not, simplify it.
Design for the size you're actually going to BURN ... not the size it looks coolest on your monitor. 🔥
