Today, we had the honor of covering the Baton Rouge Delta Development Corporation Coterie Presentation Tea in preparation for the 57th BRDDC Cotillion approaching in August 2026.

This year marks three years that Compassion Design, alongside Mishawn Lolis | LA Photographer has been trusted to capture this beautiful and meaningful event.

To watch these young ladies be presented with grace, confidence, and purpose, while their families, mentors, and community stood proudly beside them, was a powerful reminder of what happens when the village operates with intention.

Moments like this are bigger than photos and video. They are about legacy. They are about preparation. They are about celebrating young women as they step into the next chapter of who they are becoming.

Oftentimes if we quiet ourselves enough, the wisdom comes in the waiting, the endurance comes in the struggle to keep going, and faith strengthens when we reflect on how far God has already brought us. Why wouldn’t He do it again for you?

And honestly, what a journey it has been.

What started with a gift, a vision, and a real heart to serve has grown into 9 years of helping people bring their ideas, missions, businesses, and stories to life with clarity and purpose.

We’ve had the honor of walking alongside business owners, nonprofits, community leaders, public servants, creatives, and organizations who are doing meaningful work in the world.

And that’s the part we don’t take lightly.

Compassion Design has never just been about logos, websites, graphics, or content. It has always been about people. It’s about listening well, seeing the vision clearly, and helping our clients show up in a way that reflects the heart of what they carry.

This summer, her time at Compassion Design is about learning, creating, and earning Compassion Bucks that support her goals in real life and in real time.
