Never gets old seeing these guys.

No matter how many miles we travel, rivers we float, or seasons we chase—spotting a bald eagle still stops us in our tracks. There’s just something about them. The size, the stare, the effortless way they ride the wind like they own the sky.

You can be having a completely ordinary day, and suddenly there’s one perched in a cottonwood or soaring overhead, and everything slows down for a second.

Wild, powerful, and somehow still a little surreal every single time.

Huge shout out to chumsusa for not only supporting our media adventures — including our latest film Let’s Make a Fishing Movie — but also for performing the seemingly impossible task of protecting our sunglasses from permanent burial at the bottom of oceans, rivers, lakes, and assorted questionable boat launches.

Considering our team operates with a strong “if it’s not tied down, it will disappear” mentality, this is no small accomplishment.

Bonus points for keeping our gear dry shoot after shoot, too. Honestly, we’d probably lose half our production kit without you guys.

Seattle — we’re headed your way.

We’re incredibly honored to be attending the Emmy Awards in Seattle on May 30th for our Emmy-nominated film, The Hard Way.
