We are the Witnesses of God's Goodness.
"So when the apostles were with Jesus, they kept asking him, “Lord, has the time come for you to free Israel and restore our kingdom?” He replied, “The Father alone has the authority to set those dates and times, and they are not for you to know. But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you. And you will be my witnesses, telling people about me everywhere—in Jerusalem, throughout Judea, in Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” Acts of the Apostles 1:6-8 NLT
A man drove up after the cross had been up one full day at the end of September 2018. He recounted how he'd left 7 days ago to go attend his most recent grandchild 's birth out of state. He'd just returned and then exclaimed, "this wasn't here when I left!".
It really hit me later. You see, I was a witness. I heard the testimony about one of the first children born into a world who would never know what it was like for the cross not to be there.
For the next 300 years, which is the lifespan of the Teardrop Cross, no child born in our country will not be able make that claim.
We are in the moment when the Good News will and has been preached to the entirety of a fallen world.
That's enough to make you weep in Joy at God's Goodness.
