John William Hockett Obituary

Funeral services for John Hockett, 84-year-old Buffalo resident who passed away Thursday, March 19th in Casper Wyoming, will be held Saturday, April 4th, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at the Harness Funeral Home Chapel in Buffalo with Pastor Paul Gilbert officiating. A visitation for John will be held on Friday, April 3rd, 2026, at the Harness Funeral Home Chapel from 1:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Interment will be at Willow Grove Cemetery with graveside services to follow the funeral. Donations in John’s memory may be made to the Grace Fellowship Building Fund at 108 N. Burritt in Buffalo, Wyoming 82834. Online condolences may be made at www.harnessfuneralhome.com.

Mike Yin and Karlee Provenza (2 of 6 WY Democrat Legislators) are criss-crossing WY holding listening sessions in order to hear the concerns of Wyoming citizens. We are fortunate they are coming to our area on Wed., Sept. 24 to hold a Community Listening Session from 6 to 7:30 at Kearney Hall in Banner - just 15 minutes from Buffalo down the highway. They want to hear from all of us - regardless of party, so come and bring a friend. Share your concerns and hopes for Wyoming's future with people who can help make those hopes a reality.

Light refreshments will be served.
