You may have seen that Ries Graphics suffered significant damages with the recent flooding in southeast Wisconsin. With about 2 feet of water in our warehouse there were losses to some finished product and a large amount of loss of paper and other materials, as well as damage to some small equipment.
We are counting our blessings as the damages were largely confined to the warehouse and our prep department, presses and bindery equipment were not affected. Thanks to our amazing staff, many areas were running within 24 hours and were back up and fully operational within the week and we were able to make all our customer deadlines!
We want to express our deep gratitude to all our dedicated employees who helped us make it through this difficult time! We could not have done it without you!
We’d also like to thank our customers who generously offered their help. Your kindness was appreciated!
Ries Graphics has been through a lot in its 109 years and this was by far one of the most challenging times. But we are resilient and dedicated to continue the family business and are looking ahead to many more years to come!

Hiring:
Inside Sales Representative

What We’re Looking for:

We are looking for an experienced salesperson to take over established accounts and prospects and generate new leads. This person should have basic offset print understanding and experience selling print.

You will work with an in-house estimator and be assigned a customer service order entry rep to enter and track your orders throughout production and delivery.

The shift is Monday-Friday, 8am - 5pm with a 1 hour lunch, 12-1. Pay will be discussed at time of interview and based on experience. Will discuss salary, salary plus commission, or straight commission.



Requirements

Good communication skills (Verbal & Written)
Works well independently and with others
Basic print knowledge
Sales experience
Self-motivated
Good time management skills

About the Position:

The stitcher operator is responsible for setting up and running jobs on our Osako Tener Alpha 6 pocket saddle stitcher. The stitcher operator must be able to read and understand job tickets – completing the job to job ticket specifications, performing quality checks, filling out paperwork and occasionally training pocket feeders and end loaders.

The shift hours are from 6a.m. to 2p.m., Monday-Friday.

Pay will be based on level of experience at the time of interview.

Requirements:

- Stitcher experience

- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly and able to stand for the duration of their shift

- Ability to bend, twist, and do repetitive hand motions

- Can read a ruler and has basic math skills
