Don’t get discouraged by people.

Your business was placed on your heart for a reason. It has a purpose, and nobody can take that away from you.

Think about it this way, just like everyone doesn’t like you personally, everyone isn’t going to like your business either. And that’s okay.

Don’t take it personally when people you know don’t shop with you. Don’t take it personally when someone downplays your work, questions your prices, or overlooks your talent.

The truth is, your business is still running. Orders are still coming in. Money is still being made.

Why? Because somebody values your work. Somebody appreciates your prices. Somebody loves your customer service. Somebody sees the passion behind what you do.

Your assignment isn’t to convince everyone. Your assignment is to serve the people who are meant for you.

Keep showing up.
Keep creating.
Keep improving.
Keep believing.

The right customers will always find the right business.

POV: You told yourself today was going to be a content day… and somehow you didn’t take a single picture. 😂

Orders came in.
Messages started rolling in.
My phone died.
I got overstimulated.
I forgot to record.
I forgot to take photos.
Then before I knew it, the day was over.

People see the finished products, but they don’t always see the constant juggling behind the scenes. Running a small business means being the designer, customer service rep, marketer, photographer, editor, packer, shipper, and accountant, all in the same day.

Some days the content gets made.
Some days the orders become the content.

And honestly? I’m thankful for the busy days. 🤍

To every small business owner trying to create while also keeping the business running… I see you. Keep going.

Cool girls make things with their hands. 🤍✨

Today started with me looking for fun summer activities for Brooklyn and me… and somehow it turned into dusting off my old Cricut Explore and getting creative all over again.

We cut simple templates with heat transfer vinyl, ironed them onto canvas, grabbed some red, white, and blue acrylic paint, and let our imaginations do the rest. 🇺🇸🎨

Brooklyn made the cutest pizza-inspired masterpiece, and I created a floral design that will be hanging in our home for the Fourth of July. No perfection, no pressure, just quality time, creativity, and making memories with our hands.

Sometimes the best summer activities aren’t the expensive ones. They’re the ones your kids will remember because you were right there creating alongside them. ❤️
