Last month, Instagram made a HUGE CHANGE that impacts all professional accounts.
Our content is now able to show up on Google and other search engines. This is a great update that can improve small business’s visibility, but it does mean we need to make some changes.
💜 The key to making the most of this change is going to be understanding and using the right KEYWORDS.
💜 Keywords are words (or phrases) that you use in your writing that help connect you to your small business’s ideal audience.
💜 Keywords also signal to search engines what your content is about and who should see it.
💜 Small businesses have used these keywords in website SEO for a long time, but from now on they’re going to be super important for your social content strategy too!
💜 You should also be using them instead of hashtags —> experts say that good keywords are more effective at extending your reach & visibility.
💜 To do keywords right, your business NEEDS A PLAN.
