Your “link + please comment” LinkedIn routine is costing you reach.
Here’s what the newest 2026 LinkedIn algorithm shift rewards:
1️⃣ Teach something in-feed.
Turn a key takeaway, stat, or chart from your latest blog into a stand-alone post. If the reader learns something before they click your external link, you’re doing it right.
2️⃣ Give the logo a supporting role.
Personal profiles (leaders, SMEs, recruiters) dominate organic distribution. Let your experts share the insight first, then amplify it from the company page.
3️⃣ Measure depth, not vanity.
Saves, meaningful comments, DMs are all stronger signals than a handful of one-word replies.
4️⃣ Ditch engagement bait.
Excessive polls and “comment YES if you agree” tricks look busy but score low on dwell time. Ask a real question or share a fresh POV instead.
If your post can’t stand on its own, the algorithm will treat it the same way. Get our full take on LinkedIn's update here: https://bit.ly/4dwQdw1
