Then everything changed for everybody — and for the hospitality industry — hotels and short-term rentals weren’t a viable option for people navigating a quarantine. At the same time — families were faced with uncertainty and front-line emergency workers stepped up in way that galvanized the country.

Utilizing their inventory to offer shelter for caregivers and families navigating difficult choices around health and safety — Airriva launched an initiative to help support persons needing alternative housing to their current living situation.

Airriva pivoted to help and the Caregivers Fund was created. Almost $70k in donations later — the fund continues to support medical workers working on the front lines of COVID-19; helping keep their families safe.
