More sports stories. Here's an article on the successes of the Springfield AA baseball and softball teams this spring and summer. It seemed like every time I turned around they were winning championships in tournaments, leagues, and even state titles. Feel free to add to this thread if there are any we missed. Congrats on all the success! It's great when the hard work pays off.

I don't know Ed but I know the article was well received and I know his daughters are following in his footsteps with volunteering their time and sharing their love for coaching and teaching. Winning Delco Sportsperson of the year, and previously being recognized in Springfield by Springfield AA and Springfield Township volunteer wall is a true testament to his impact to our community. Springfield’s annual Food Truck Festival is next Wednesday, August 12th from 5pm to 10pm and will feature live music from Shot of Southern! The festival takes place at 50 Powell Road and please be aware there will be road closures and parking restrictions associated with this event. Please plan accordingly.
