UPDATE: Kingston has been safely located!

📢AMBER ALERT: Issued for Missing Enterprise Child

ENTERPRISE — An Amber Alert has been issued after Enterprise police reported the forced abduction of a 2-year-old child Wednesday afternoon.

According to the Enterprise Police Department, Kingston Thomas was reportedly taken at approximately 4:30 p.m. on July 22 from the 300 block of Three Notch Road.

Police said Kingston was last seen wearing a yellow shirt, blue jean shorts and his hair in a ponytail.

Investigators have identified the suspect as Shamarco Moore. Authorities believe Moore is driving a dark blue 2010 Hyundai Genesis with Alabama license plate A21TE2.

Enterprise police are actively searching for the child and suspect and are coordinating with surrounding law enforcement agencies. Officials are urging anyone who sees the vehicle, the suspect or Kingston Thomas to immediately call 911 or contact the Enterprise Police Department at (334) 347-2222.

Police said any information, no matter how small it may seem, could be critical in safely locating the child.

"The safety of the child remains our highest priority," the Enterprise Police Department said. "Additional information will be released as it becomes available."

Motorists are also encouraged to watch for the suspect vehicle and report any sightings to law enforcement immediately.
