There’s something so romantic about a gown that comes alive as you move 🤍 Breanna’s wedding dress was soft and beautifully feminine, featuring an off-the-shoulder Juliet strap and delicate pearl details that accented the draped neckline. We focused on creating a fit that supported her comfortably while still allowing that gorgeous skirt to move effortlessly, and the result was made for moments like that first dance! Seeing Breanna twirling across the dance floor and enjoying every part of her wedding day is exactly why the right alterations matter. Some photos are simply too beautiful to stay in the archives 🤍
While looking back through old wedding photos, I came across this incredible moment from my dear friend Kayla’s wedding. When I was living in the Chicagoland area years ago, I had the privilege of altering Kayla’s wedding gown for their stunning winter wedding, which makes looking back at this photo even more special.
The delicate lace detailing featured on the long sleeves and the classic sleek silhouette were absolutely perfect for a snowy winter day, not to mention the snow falling around them making the entire moment feel like a scene from a movie.
One of my favorite parts of doing this work is knowing that the gowns I alter become part of memories that couples will carry with them for decades. And when the bride is also a personal friend, those memories mean just a little bit more 🤍
More than seven years later, and this photo of Kayla and Dan is still pure magic. Congratulations on a long and happy marriage, with many more years to come!

Timeless, refined, and made for a grand entrance 🤍
Ashley chose a beautifully classic ballgown with a clean, strapless bodice and a gorgeous full skirt. With a gown this simple and elegant, the fit becomes one of the most important details. We worked to make sure the bodice sat securely and beautifully while preserving that effortless, polished silhouette from every angle.
And can we talk about her veil? The delicate lace edging against the simplicity of the gown was the perfect finishing touch, especially as it trailed behind her walking up that incredible staircase.
Ashley looked sophisticated, romantic, and completely timeless on her wedding day. It was such a pleasure being part of the process and helping her gown fit exactly as it should.

There’s something so striking about a gown that reveals a new detail with every angle 🤍 Carissa’s gown was such a beautiful combination of classic and modern, with a clean, structured silhouette in the front and that stunning sheer corset detail in the back. With a gown like this, the fit is everything. Every adjustment matters to make sure the bodice feels secure, the silhouette falls beautifully, and the gown looks just as striking from behind as it does from the front.

Some brides become friends, and some friends make this work feel even more special 🤍
Mckenna is a personal friend of mine, and on October 2nd this year, she and Tom will celebrate five years of marriage! Seeing her recently reminded me of their stunning backyard wedding; it has been so much fun watching their lives grow and change since these beautiful wedding day moments were captured.
One of my favorite parts of working with brides is knowing that my role, however small, becomes part of such an important chapter in their lives. I love hearing the updates that come years later, seeing where life has taken them, and celebrating the new memories and milestones along the way. It is even sweeter when I get to experience those updates firsthand through friendship.
