Being in business since 1991 doesn’t mean doing everything the same way we did in 1991.

At Sport Designs, innovation means investing in better equipment, adding new decoration options and finding easier ways for customers to order what they need.

Sometimes it’s a new machine. Sometimes it’s laser engraving, a flexible online store or a better way to handle a large company apparel order.

The goal isn’t to change just for the sake of changing. It’s to keep finding better ways to serve our customers and create more of what they need.

An AI-generated picture of a finished shirt can be a great way to show us what you have in mind.

But the picture of the shirt and the artwork on it aren’t necessarily the same thing.

Think of the mockup as the inspiration. It shows us the colors, placement and overall look you like. From there, our art team can determine what’s needed to create the actual design for production.

So, yes—send us the picture. Even if it isn’t the finished artwork, it can still help us understand what you want to create.

Quick question: When do you actually need your shirts?

We’re not just talking about your event date.

If your event is Saturday, you’ll probably want the order in hand by Thursday. That gives you time to sort everything, hand it out and get organized before the big day.

That earlier date is your real need-by date, and it’s the one we use when we’re planning your order.

A little breathing room always makes for a smoother event.

Artwork approved—so what happens now? 👕

Here’s something most people don’t realize: every decoration method requires a different kind of setup.

Screen printing uses screens, usually one for each color. Embroidery uses a digital stitch file that tells the machine how to sew the design.

Depending on your order, our team’s still got some work to do behind the scenes. We may be setting up screens, preparing embroidery files, double-checking ink or thread colors, sorting garments and making sure the placement is right.

Then it’s on to production and a quality check before everything’s ready for pickup or delivery.

You just see the finished shirts show up looking great. We handle everything it takes to get there — like we have for 35 years.
