š This week Tyler Reddick made NASCAR history becoming the first driver ever to win the first three races of a NASCAR CUP Series season while driving for 23XI Racing, the team co-owned by Michael Jordan.
Iām generally not plugged into racing results but this one caught my attention. My friend and colleague Sovanna and I got to work on a project with Tyler back in 2022.
Prior to that project, I'm not sure I could have spelled NASCAR. Okay, I still donāt know anything about it. I have a 2 year old so I am more in my Cars and Lightning McQueen era, thatās as close as we get. That said, stepping into that world was a blast!
A week or two after the shoot we even made the trip up to Pocono Raceway to see it all in person.
I didnāt think I had any photos from that day but while digging through my files looking for something else, I came across this one.
One of the things I love about this work is getting to meet people who are elite at their craft. Whether thatās building things, educating children, solving business problems or driving stock cars.
Very exciting to see someone that was great to work with doing such big things. Congrats, Tyler!
