🔧 GARAGE MYTHBUSTERS: BNI EDITION 🔧

This morning, Aaron Eich with Eich Brothers Automotive Eich Brothers showed up to ruin everything we thought we knew about cars. 😂

Turns out, some of the automotive advice we’ve been confidently passing around for years is… well, completely wrong.

🚗 Running your A/C destroys your gas mileage? BUSTED. (It’s a little more complicated than that.)

🛻 Driving with your tailgate down saves gas? BUSTED. Aerodynamics would like a word.

🛞 Inflate your tires to the PSI on the sidewall? BUSTED. Check the sticker inside your driver’s door instead.

The takeaway? Just because your uncle has been doing it that way since 1987 doesn’t mean he’s right. Sorry, Uncle Gary.

Beyond busting myths, Aaron reminded us why having a knowledgeable, trustworthy mechanic matters. Someone who will give you straight answers, explain what your vehicle actually needs, and help you make informed decisions.

Some people network.

Network Ninjas assemble. 😂⚡️

When one of our own is presenting, apparently the appropriate response is to gather the troops, cross chapter lines, and show up like the fate of the entire networking universe depends on it.

This week, Dawn Greenwald with Peanut Galleries Photography & Cabi Clothing was presenting at another networking group… so naturally, a few Ninjas had to roll in as her unofficial superhero entourage. 😂

No capes were actually worn.
No buildings were destroyed.
And as far as I know, nobody yelled “AVENGERS… ASSEMBLE!”

But the energy was there. 💪

And THAT is one of my favorite things about BNI. We don’t just pass referrals and see each other on Thursday mornings. We genuinely want to see each other win—and sometimes that means showing up somewhere completely different just to say:

“Yep. That’s our person. She’s awesome.” ❤️
