DIY phone “Brick” tutorial 📲🧱 You asked, I delivered!

Mom was right… it really IS “that phone” 🥹😂

We’re in Q4, and I have goals to accomplish before the year ends. But opening Instagram or TikTok for “inspiration” kept turning into scrolling sessions, and suddenly, my workday was gone. 😅

So I made my own version of a phone Brick using Foqos to block distracting apps, reduce screen time, and help me stay focused.

As a social media manager and content creator, being online is part of my job… but so is knowing when to put the phone down and get things done!

A lot of you voted for this tutorial, so here’s how I made mine. Time to lock in! 🔒

First, use your back camera, the quality is much better than your front camera! So when you use your back camera I highly recommend purchasing this magnetic selfie screen! It’s the perfect way to be sure you’re in the frame when you’re using your back camera!

It’s PART 2 of Behind the Wedding Content, and it’s time for the reception! 🥳 The Websters definitely know how to throw a party! 😅

The couple also requested our Video Guestbook during cocktail hour and the reception, so their guests could leave special messages for them. The first thing I did was get the station set up and ready to capture all the love!

Everything moved so quickly after that, but having a detailed shot list and wedding-day schedule kept me on track. In the midst of all the excitement, I made sure we finished the trends we started earlier in the day while still capturing all the special moments throughout the reception.

Everything was absolutely beautiful, and I’m so grateful Purely Social got to capture it all! 🤍

Happy Tuesday! 💡 Today I’m sharing some CapCut editing tips! Utilize the transcript feature to help cut down on your editing time! It will find any gaps in your video or filler words and it will cut them out for you instead of you having to manually edit it out yourself!
