🐾💚 I’ve been keeping a little something under wraps...
I’m so excited to officially share that Midwest Design Market is the new Spirit Wear Provider for Hickory Center Elementary School!
We kicked things off last night at the Hickory Center Carnival with the launch of their new Spirit Wear Store, and it was such a fun evening. Seeing students, parents and staff choosing their favorite designs, colors and styles, and then getting to make their spirit wear right there for them, was pretty amazing.
The response to the new designs was wonderful, and I’m so excited to continue creating fun new ways for Hickory Center families to show their Husky pride. 💚💙
Even better, a percentage of the profit from every Hickory Center Spirit Wear purchase goes right back to the Hickory Center PTO, so every order helps support the school.
I’m incredibly grateful for the opportunity and can’t wait to see where we take the Huskies Spirit Wear Store from here. 🐾

🌼 Midwest Design Market got a little refresh! 💙

If you’ve visited the MDM website before, you may notice things are looking a little different around there.

As Midwest Design Market has continued to grow and evolve, I wanted the website to feel more like MDM today: polished, creative, colorful, approachable, and built around helping schools, organizations, businesses and communities bring their ideas to life.

✨ Introducing... The Oakwood Collection. ✨

Some of the best projects don't start with a product.

They start with a conversation.

Several months ago, Oakwood Resort approached Midwest Design Market looking for help creating custom souvenirs and gift shop items that felt authentic to Oakwood and Lake Wawasee. What began as a few individual products quickly grew into something much bigger.

Together, we developed The Oakwood Collection... a growing line of exclusive gifts inspired by the lake, the resort, and the memories generations of families have made there.

From concept sketches...
to product design...
to packaging...
to retail displays...
to branding each series...

Every detail was intentionally designed to feel like it belonged at Oakwood.

The collection currently includes:
🌊 Magnets
🚤 License plates
👕 Children's apparel..with many more products already in the works.

One of my favorite parts of the project has been creating packaging that makes each item feel like a gift before it's ever opened. Seeing everything displayed together for the first time was one of those "this is actually happening" moments.

🎓 More Than Spirit Wear... A Complete Spirit Store Experience. 💙

One of my favorite parts of owning Midwest Design Market is helping schools and organizations celebrate the people who make their communities special.

I'm excited to share the launch of the Carroll High School Class of 2027 Spirit Store, designed to make it easy for families to celebrate senior year with a coordinated collection of keepsakes and apparel.

The store includes:

A mix of recent and past work for Oakwood Resort.

Custom magnets designed for both function and guest experience—from “Do Not Disturb” magnets with a subtle nod to the lake, to pet notification magnets for staff.

Each piece was created to feel cohesive with the space while still being clear, practical, and easy to use.

This is one of my favorite parts of what I do—taking something simple and making it feel intentional.
