We had a WONDERFUL and PRODUCTIVE meeting this morning with the Governor's Office of Small, Minority & Women Business Affairs and Ocean Downs Casino creating opportunities for MD Certified Minority Businesses. Mjach Designs was honored to be one of the businesses in attendance, meeting all of the people who work so hard to help small minority businesses. We were honored and received an employee compliment that they hadn't seen someone show up so prepared with company information and marketing materials!

Also sending a BIG shout out to Worcester County Chamber of Commerce in Ocean Pines in Ocean Pines who does SO MUCH to support local business owners!

We had an INCREDIBLE, and INSPIRATIONAL Day, filled with people who choose to make a difference. Melissa was honored to be a guest speaker at S.H.E. Week with an AMAZING group of individuals in a room full (300+) of powerful, and compassionate women. Melissa spoke about starting Mjach Designs, and the difficulties of life, working through them while learning, prioritizing, growing and always keeping PEOPLE as our main focus. We are looking for Mystery Shopping candidates in Phoenix, AZ. This work is specifically in the public transportation sector. Mjach Designs was awarded this project and we launch in July. We did our annual "Meet the Managers" day, talking to commuters who truly value the system. Reliable public transportation is so critical, helping people reach their destinations. We were honored to be selected a second year to judge the Business Plan Competition at Frederick Community College. The students really put a lot of time and effort into their plans and presentations. Melissa Lentz remembers applying for her first business loan years ago, when starting Mjach Designs and being denied because she was too busy launching the business and didn't have time to write a business plan. This is such a critical piece of starting a business, and we APPLAUD FCC for teaching the students the importance of launching their business dreams with documented action steps, goals, and a financial forecast! We also want to send a big shout out and THANK YOU to M&T Bank for their continued community support and sponsorship!
