Joanna, my 7th grader, is officially in training. Today she learned how to wind and thread the bobbin on our embroidery machine. There was concentration, a little suspense, and one: “Mom, wait—which way does it go?” 😂

Bobbin nests? Survived them. Thread wrapped around the hand wheel? Annoying, but fine. Thread wrapped around the take-up lever? That’s when you clear your schedule, grab the tweezers and pray. 🧵
