What a day with Oregon Adventure Guide Service. Sean kept us on fish and the river stayed consistent all day. We worked through short bites, tules, undersized fish and even released a few smaller hatchery URBs.

It was that perfect kind of Columbia fishing: relaxing right up until a rod buried, then exciting all over again.

There’s something that happens when you fish with the same people often enough.

I’ve fished with everyone in this picture except the woman in yellow, who happens to be a world-class fisherwoman. The rest are a family Rod and I had one of the funnest times imaginable crabbing with last winter.

Everybody here loves to fish. Really loves it.

And I think that’s why days like this become about more than a rack full of coho.

Fish together long enough and you collect things that don’t fit in a cooler. Stories get better with age. Bad decisions become running jokes.

Before long, you aren’t just people who happen to fish together. You have history.

There are a lot of reasons I love fishing, but this has become one of the biggest.

A beautiful pile of coho eventually disappears.

A good fishing crew just keeps adding stories.

3RD PLACE AT THE 2026 OREGON TUNA CLASSIC! 🏆🎣

This was a dream trip.

Not a single troll fish all day. Every tuna came on iron, which made this one even more fun. Just finding fish, dropping jigs and getting after them.

But the best part was the crew. Easily the best crew I’ve ever had the privilege of being a part of. Everybody worked together, everybody contributed and we had an absolute blast doing it.

We came back to Garibaldi with a deck full of albacore and finished 3rd at the Oregon Tuna Classic.

Couldn’t have scripted this one much better.

Great day at Buoy 10 with Reel Em Up Fishing Adventures! 🎣

We started the day in the river and hooked one, then as soon as the ebb was over we crossed the bar and headed north. We found some beautiful Chinook and had a great day on the water.

Always great getting out there with my dad. We decided to call it early without getting our coho since we’ve got a long ride ahead of us for walleye fishing in Umatilla tomorrow!

Huge congratulations to 16-year-old Shawn on landing his first Chinook salmon! What a way to check that one off the bucket list.

A big thank you to Roy Rogers for putting him on the fish and making it happen. These are the moments that keep us coming back to the water.

Nothing beats seeing a young angler hook into their first king. Congrats, Shawn! 👊🔥
