While AI may outperform humans in many forms of analysis and efficiency, the uniquely human qualities: empathy, creativity, lived experience, relationships, and authenticity - remain difficult to replicate.
Our imperfections are often the source of wisdom, resilience, and connection.
That was one of my biggest takeaways from this segment by Fareed Zakaria.
The danger of AI isn't so much in machines becoming human.
It's in humans trying to become machines.
Optimizing every moment.
Measuring every outcome.
Treating ourselves like algorithms rather than people.
AI is an incredible tool.
It can help us learn faster, solve problems, and eliminate repetitive work.
But the qualities that build trust, inspire ideas, strengthen relationships, and move people to action are still deeply human.
Perhaps the greatest opportunity AI gives us is not to become more machine-like.
It's to become more human.
