There are two kinds of creative agencies. Which one has been burning you? 🔥

Most agencies keep you at arm's length. Cold process. Vague timelines. A final product that looks like it could belong to anyone.

That's not us. That has never been us.

At Michie Productions, we built something different on purpose, because we were tired of seeing brilliant businesses get squeezed into boxes that didn't fit them.

Here's what the Michie way actually looks like:

✓ Warm, supportive, and fluid, not cold, transactional, or rigid
✓ Total transparency at every single step, no black box tactics, no guessing games
✓ We guide you to your most authentic self, not toward some generic, cookie-cutter look
✓ Fresh, true-to-you storytelling, not oversaturated content that blends in with everything else

We're not just a vendor. We're your creative director from concept to final cut, and we protect your brand voice like it's our own.

If you're ready for a creative sanctuary and not just another contract, we'd love to meet you. 🤍

Nobody told me this when I was starting out, and I don't want you to learn the hard way. 🎬

If you're thinking about hiring a videographer for your brand, here are 3 things you need to know first:

✓ Ask for their FULL portfolio, not just their highlight reel. Any videographer can make one great video. Consistency is what separates the real ones from the rest. Ask to see work from the last 6 months so you know exactly what you're getting.

✓ They should lead with STRATEGY, not pricing. A great videographer asks about your brand before they ever mention a number. If they jump straight to rates without understanding your goals, that's a red flag.

✓ Get EVERYTHING in writing. Deliverables, revision limits, final deadlines, all of it. Vague answers about what's included are a major red flag. You deserve to know exactly what you're paying for before you sign anything.

At Michie Productions, we lead with strategy, we show you exactly how we work, and we put every detail in writing. No surprises, no guesswork, just clear expectations and bold results. That's the Michie way.

Most people think hiring a production company means paying someone to show up with a camera. 🎬

Filming is actually only about 20% of what we do.

The other 80% is where the real work lives:

✓ Pre-production: kickoff calls, brand strategy, market research, scripting
✓ Production day: directing, shooting, making sure every frame has a purpose
✓ Post-production: editing, color grading, sound design, scheduling the final delivery at the right time for your audience

By the time you're watching a finished video, we've been working on it for 2 to 3 weeks.

That's the difference between someone who can film and someone who can actually build a content strategy around your brand.

A videographer captures what's in front of them. A production partner figures out what needs to be in front of the camera and why — then makes it look incredible. 🎯

At Michie Productions, we do both. Strategy first, stunning visuals second. Every time.

Your brand has a story worth telling. The question is, are people actually seeing it? 🎬

Video content isn't just a "nice to have" anymore. 86% of businesses are already using it as a marketing tool, and the ones who aren't? They're getting left behind. Your audience wants to see your brand in motion, your process, your people, your purpose. That's where we come in.

At Michie Productions, we don't just point a camera and hit record. We sit down with you, learn your brand inside and out, and build a visual story that actually connects and converts. Brand films, social media content, event coverage, testimonial videos — we do it all, and we do it with intention.

We've worked with minority-owned businesses, wedding vendors, realtors, creatives, and entrepreneurs across Houston and beyond. Every single client gets a custom approach because no two brands are the same. Cookie-cutter content is not the Michie way. 🎯

If your visuals aren't moving people, it's time to change that.

When one of us hurts we all hurt. Here’s some different resources to help with Venezuela. https://donarseguro.com/en

I’ll be posting a lot on my stories for different drives and donation links, if you want to stay up to date just keep track of those.

We were able to drop some things off at and there’s plenty of other local businesses in Houston that are doing the same. Stay informed. And don’t trust what the Venezuelan government says. They’re a bunch of thugs that are high off of their power trip.

Thanks to everyone that has reached out, and my condolences to those families that have lost loved ones. We are here. We are strong.

Your brand is working overtime, but your content isn't keeping up. 📲

Blurry phone photos. Inconsistent visuals. Followers scrolling past without booking. Sound familiar?

That's the gap we close.

At Michie Productions, we handle everything your brand needs to actually stand out online:
📸 Photography (brands, events, real estate, portraits & more)
🎥 Videography (promos, weddings, social reels & YouTube)
🎨 Branding (logos, identity & visual design systems)
📱 Social Media Strategy (content creation & full management)

We shoot on location all over Houston, from Discovery Green to Buffalo Bayou to Midtown murals. HTX is literally our studio. We scout the golden hour light, know the local spots that make brands pop, and direct every pose, angle, and moment so you never have to guess.

The result? A brand that actually looks like you, converts, and books.

Real Houston clients. Real results. You imagine, we create. ✨

People think I just show up, hit record, and call it a day. 😅

So let me break down what actually goes into one video:

✓ Strategy calls
✓ Research + trend watching
✓ Storyboarding
✓ Caption writing
✓ Production day (yes, this is only 2 hours)
✓ Editing
✓ Review + final delivery

That's easily 20 hours of work for a single video. The shoot is literally the fun part.

And before you say "I'll just use my phone," I started Michie Productions on an iPhone. So trust me, the phone was never the problem. The strategy, the lighting, the sound, the editing... that's where the magic (and the work) actually lives.

Your phone is just a tool. The strategy is what makes it work. 🎬

So the next time you wonder what you're paying for, now you know.

Your listings are competing against hundreds of others online. 📲

And buyers are scrolling fast.

If your photos look like they were taken on a lunch break, that's exactly the impression your listing makes before anyone even walks through the door.

We do things differently. 🎬

We come in and turn one property into weeks of content:
✓ Scroll-stopping listing photos
✓ Cinematic walkthroughs and reels
✓ Story content, teasers, and agent branding clips
✓ A full content strategy built around attracting the right buyer

You're not just getting media. You're getting a marketing team that makes your listings impossible to ignore.

Because great agents deserve more than phone photos and random posts. They deserve content that builds trust before the first call, attracts serious buyers, and grows a brand people actually remember. 🏡

That's exactly what we build here at Michie Productions.

I learned this the hard way so you don't have to 🎬

When you first start out, you say yes to everything. You need the money, you need the experience, and honestly? You're just excited. But there are 3 things I wish someone had told me from day one.

1️⃣ Protect your time.
Clients will take as much as you give them. Late night texts, last-minute changes, "can you just quickly..." The moment you stop protecting your time, you stop being a business and you start being on call. Set your hours. Hold that boundary. 🙅🏽

2️⃣ Get a contract. Every. Single. Time.
Friends, family, doesn't matter. A handshake is not a contract. I once did two full shoots and only got paid for one because we had nothing in writing. The other person never felt responsible to pay me for it. That was a painful lesson that never happened again. 📝 A contract isn't about distrust, it's about clarity.

3️⃣ Stop undercharging.
When you're new, it feels like you have to charge less because you don't have the experience yet. But as you grow, your pricing HAS to grow with you. Undercharging doesn't bring in more clients, it brings in the wrong ones. Charge what reflects your value and you'll attract clients who actually respect your work. 💸

These lessons built Michie Productions into what it is today. If you're building your business and want help doing it the right way, comment STRATEGY below and I'll reach out with everything you need to start scaling. 👇
