CHOMP Donuts & Coffee is taking over Salt Lake City with a new shop and billboard. Yesterday we installed this ad copy on a location just off I-15 on 600s. Also huge shout out to Reagan Outdoor Advertising . We love being in the industry with them and are inspired by their dedication to family.

In 1997 we built and installed the University Heights city sign. The sign has been an icon of the neighborhood for almost 30 years now. University Heights Community Association (UHCA) shared some amazing photos from the installation in March of 1997. This year we had the opportunity to replace all the neon for the letters and some of the border units as well. As part of the repair we had to replace some of the transformers, all of which are original from the 90s. The sign is still running on some of the original transformers which is incredible.

We love preserving neon signs especially the ones we build. Almost 30 years ago we built and installed this sign in University Heights in San Diego. All these years later it’s amazing to see the appreciation and care of the community.

Have you seen this new sign on campus? We built and painted it by hand and are super proud with how it turned out.

We can’t pick favorites.. but working on classic theater signs is something we always look forward to. What was your favorite theater to go to as a kid?

A sign doesn’t have to go completely dark to need service.

Modern illuminated signs often contain multiple LED modules. When individual modules have problems, you may start seeing dark spots or uneven illumination.

Our YESCO Idaho Falls/Pocatello team recently provided LED module service for Caribou Jack’s Trading Co. in Pocatello, helping keep the business signage looking bright and consistent.

One property can have a lot more than one sign.

Building letters identify the brand, while secondary signs help customers find specific services around the property.

Our YESCO Idaho Falls team recently serviced U-Haul in Ammon, addressing an outage in the U-HAUL building letters and the propane cabinet signage, along with touch-up work on the sign poles.

Keeping the whole sign system maintained helps create a consistent experience across the property.

We built the iconic Coachman’s sign in Salt Lake City in the 1970s. In 2021, the restaurant closed, and the future of the sign became uncertain. We were honored when Liberty Wells Community Council came to us with a plan to save the sign. With the help of the community, enough money was raised to remove and store the sign until a new home can be found. The community is actively looking for a new home to put the sign in Salt Lake if anyone has any ideas..

We truly believe and hope neon will always have a place in the sign world and we will always advocate for preserving historic signs while exploring ever changing sign technology. Las Vegas has always been the biggest sign playground in the world and we are excited for what the future holds. We would love to hear which signs from the past or present are your favorite!

No place on earth like Las Vegas! We loved working with and on this new massive sign.

Repair or replace?

It's one of the most common questions we hear about digital signs.

Sometimes a simple repair restores years of reliable performance. Other times, replacing older technology is the better long-term investment.

Our Idaho Falls team recently evaluated the Electronic Message Center at Maple Street Plaza to help determine the best path forward.

The right diagnosis can save both time and money.

Great food deserves great visibility.

For restaurants, the guest experience begins before anyone walks through the door.

Our Idaho Falls team recently restored illumination to the building sign at El Mirador, helping ensure guests can easily spot the restaurant day or night.

Sometimes the smallest repair helps make the biggest first impression.

Signs aren't the only thing we keep shining.

Exterior lighting plays a big role in helping customers feel safe and comfortable when visiting a business after dark.

Our Idaho Falls team recently repaired eight decorative goose-neck lights at Stinker Station in Victor, restoring both visibility and curb appeal.

A well-lit property is a welcoming property.

Some advertising never takes a day off.

Billboards work 24 hours a day, 365 days a year—making every passing driver a potential customer.

Our Idaho Falls team recently installed new billboard graphics for Taylor Chevrolet, helping keep the dealership's message fresh and visible along one of eastern Idaho's busiest travel corridors.

What's the most memorable billboard you've ever seen?

If nobody claims the baseball we will use it as a trophy in our office..

06/26/2026

Great signs don't start in the shop-they start in the field.

Before a single sign face is manufactured or graphic is printed, our technicians gather detailed measurements to ensure everything fits perfectly.

Our Idaho Falls/Pocatello team recently completed a sign survey at Pocatello Square, laying the groundwork for future signage upgrades.

Sometimes the most important part of a project happens long before installation day.

06/25/2026

Hotel signs never get to clock out.

Long after the front desk is open, illuminated signs are still helping travelers find their destination.

Our Idaho Falls/Pocatello team recently restored lighting on the Three Bear Lodge pole sign in West Yellowstone, helping welcome guests arriving at all hours.

Reliable signs create better first impressions—and better guest experiences.

Did you know?

Pole signs are designed to grab attention from hundreds of feet away-but they only work when they're fully illuminated.

Our Idaho Falls/Pocatello team recently restored lighting on the Marketplace pole sign, helping keep the business visible for customers day and night.

Sometimes the smallest repair makes the biggest difference.
