My kids are now at the age where they are always wanting to run around and play with all of the neighbor kids.

A twist that I wasn’t expecting was not only becoming “The House With the Trampoline”, but I think we’re also slowly becoming “The House With All of the Squishies”.

I’m such a sucker for it, too. 😂Because I can’t handle the idea of sending them home without one 😭

So if you’re ever sitting around wondering “wtf, why hasn’t DBD dropped any squishies in forever?”, blame it on dem kids 🤣🤣🤣

March is Developmental Disability Awareness Month.
Different brains deserve understanding, not stigma. 🧠

Many developmental disabilities like ADHD and autism are still widely misunderstood.

What people sometimes label as laziness, lack of discipline, or bad behavior is often just a brain processing the world differently.

Different does not mean broken.

For many neurodivergent people the world can feel louder brighter and more overwhelming. Tools like routines, sensory supports, and fidgets are not crutches OR distractions. They are ways people regulate focus and participate in everyday life.

Awareness is not just knowing these conditions exist.
It is choosing understanding over judgment when someone experiences the world differently.

If you’re open to it, share one thing that helped you better understand neurodivergent experiences. Even small shifts in perspective make a difference. 💛
