Apple sent its largest documented single wave of mercenary spyware threat notifications on Thursday, alerting an unspecified number of iPhone users across 110 countries that they may have been individually targeted by government-grade surveillance tools — and for the first time in five years of the program, the warning arrived directly on their Lock Screen.
